The Playa Dorada Golf Course was founded in 1984 and designed by the golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.. It has wide fairways, 
4 greens by the sea, 5 greens are set 
bordering inland water. Around the course area there are many pleasant hotels, some of them located directly on the beach.

How to reach the club: From Puerto Plata airport you take the road No 5 in the direction of Puerto Plata City, after about 15 km you turn right in the direction of ”Playa Dorada“. Driving time 15 minutes.
